The 30th Foundation Day function of Pink City Press Club was celebrated from 21st to 23rd October 2021 in the Press Club premises with great gaiety. The three-day Foundation Day celebrations started on October 21, 2021 at 6 pm by switching on the light decorations. After that Rajasthani folk dance and music program was organized.
There were many great performances that were performed at the function. To name a few, one of the most beautiful Rajasthani folk songs ‘Kesariya Balam Aavo Ni Padharo Mhare Desh’ and ‘Mharo Rang Rangilo’ were sung by Country Singer Sarwar Khan.
An amazing traditional performance of Chari Dance was given by Badila Leta Aajo Ji Lalita and Pooja Sapera. Another famous traditional song ‘Nimboda Nimboda’ was sung by Sarwar Khan and everyone enjoyed it. Then, Pooja Sapera gave a mesmerizing Bhavai dance performance with seven pots on her head on the song ‘Gauri Kar Solah Singar’. Sarwar King again set the environment with his beautiful voice and sang the song ‘Cham Cham Chamke Chunri Binjara Re’ for everyone.
The most famous traditional dance Ghoomar of Rajasthan was performed by Lalita and Pooja Sapera. Jeetu also performed Bhavai dance on the song ‘Ital Pital Ro Maro’. In Padyo Fair, Famous Rajasthani Kalbelia Dance was performed. The whole evening was so successful and everyone enjoyed the beauty of Rajasthan culture with every performance.
On the eve of Foundation Day celebrations, the inauguration of the photo exhibition and cultural evening was organized on October 22 at 6 pm.
The traditional folk dances of different regions of Rajasthan were scattered. Many beautiful performances including folk dance, Gorband, Ghoomar were given by the folk artists.
The main function was organized on the foundation day on 23 October 2021 at 11 am. Honorable and young journalists and cinematographers were honored on this occasion in which Life Time Achievement Award, Best Print Media Reporter Award, Best Electronic Media Award, Best Photo journalist Award and Best Videographer and Cartoonist Award was conferred. The award included a citation, quince, safa, memento, shawl.
